 Vision of Sibarista

To empower tourism stakeholders to independently target the tourism industry market while creatively enhancing the promotion and sales of travel packages.

Mission

  1. Community Empowerment
    To serve as a collaborative learning platform for managers of tourist villages, hotels, restaurants, and tour guides.
  2. Marketing Capacity Building
    To equip participants with digital marketing skills, effective social media strategies, and creative content production techniques.
  3. Adol Paketan (Package Selling)
    To promote collaboration among tourism stakeholders in selling integrated travel packages, proven to increase domestic visitor arrivals in Semarang City.
  4. Service Quality Improvement
    To ensure that tourism products meet high service standards and remain competitive.

Sibarista Work Programs

1. Sibarista Marketer Award

An annual flagship program that serves both as a competition and a platform for professional growth for marketers in the tourism sector.

  • Participants: Involves businesses from hotels, restaurants, cafes, tourist villages, tourist attractions (DTWs), and the entertainment sector.
  • Stages: Includes written tests, interviews, and intensive training for finalists.
  • Objective: To train participants to independently and effectively target the tourism industry market.

2. Marketing Skill Up

A regular technical training program aimed at enhancing the marketing skills of community members and local tourism stakeholders.

  • Special Editions: For example, specialized training programs for the development of tourist villages, such as initiatives to create “10 New Kandri” to boost local tourist arrivals.
  • Training Content: Focused on digital marketing techniques, creative content creation, and integrated travel package sales strategies.

3. “Adol Paketan Sibarista” Innovation

A collaborative initiative to develop and market integrated travel packages in Semarang City.

  • Package Curation: Community members collaborate to select potential destinations and bundle them into attractive travel packages for domestic visitors.
  • Impact: The program has significantly contributed to the growth of tourist arrivals in Semarang City.

4. Guidance & Monitoring (Evaluation)

Routine coordination and evaluation activities ensure that programs are implemented according to plan and achieve their objectives.

  • Coordination: Involves Disbudpar as facilitator and the Sibarista community as mentors for emerging tourism stakeholders.
